School of Nursing established in 1952 when the Nursing Council of Kenya recognised it as a nursing institution.

The institution has put up a new surgical ward which was opened officially by the President of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dr. Paulsen during the grand opening of the East African Union Centennial Celebrations.
